New Online Lincoln Exhibition

The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History just launched a new online exhibition called, “Abraham Lincoln in His Own Words.” 
The exhibition draws from numerous digitized documents from the Gilder Lehrman Collection.   This is a great resource to explore on your own or to use in the classroom.

Happy 200th Birthday Lincoln!

Today we celebrated Lincoln’s 200th birthday, with a dedication of the new Lincoln sculpture on the ellipse in front of the Cottage and the opening of a new special exhibit, “My Abraham Lincoln,” which features a cross-section of Lincolniana including original manuscripts, art, and pop culture from 6 private collections.

“Deep & Subtle Expression” Exhibition Closes Tonight

Today is the last day to view the special exhibition, “A Deep and Subtle Expression: Lincoln in Sculpture – Works from National Trust Collections.” The exhibition is located in the Robert H. Exhibits Delivered
